Lisa Mika Chan, PA-C, MPAS
Lisa graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor’s of Science degree from UCLA, and completed her Master’s degree as valedictorian of her class from the Physician Assistant Studies Program at Loma Linda University in 2005. Lisa’s professional career in medicine has spanned across multiple diverse sub-specialties. Lisa also has a keen interest in healthcare professional education and academics. As a regular clinical guest lecturer at her alma mater, Loma Linda University, Lisa enjoys sharing her knowledge and professional experiences with first-year PA students. She held a principal faculty appointment as Director of Clinical Education for a developing physician assistant studies program prior to joining the practice team at OC Blood & Cancer Care in February 2016, where she also enjoys having pre-PA and undergraduate students shadow her during clinical encounters.
Lisa’s outside professional interests include educational mentorship, healthcare and career consulting, public speaking, organizational leadership, freelance writing, and contract development/negotiations. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys competitive ballroom dancing, listening to NPR podcasts, supporting and volunteering at Fountain Valley public schools, enjoying epicurean adventures with her foodie husband, and enthusiastically watching reruns of popular animated movies and children’s shows with her two young sons.
